Element Based RFI is queries related to the element of a model. We can create Element based RFI using two methods,

Follow the below steps to create an element-based RFI,

  1. Select Projects > My Projects and click on Model Viewer icon from the required Project

  1. Select the desired models from the directory and click on the Load button to view the models in the viewer

  1. Select the RFI tab to load all the RFI related to the model

  1. Select an element in the viewer and click on the Create RFI (“+” ) Icon

  1. Enter the Mandatory Fields which will be marked with “*”, and click on the Create button to complete the process

Creating an Element Based RFI using Group Tab

Follow the below steps to create an element-based RFI,

  1. Select the Groups Tab and choose an element from the Hierarchy

  1. Click on the Create Button and select Create RFI option

  1. Enter the Mandatory Fields which will be marked with “*”, and click on the Create button to complete the process
