Property Based RFI is created from properties of the element, part, or assembly properties. We can create Element based RFI using two methods,

Follow the below steps to create a property-based issue,

  1. Select Projects > My Projects and click on Model Viewer icon from the required Project

  1. Select the desired models from the directory and click on the Load button to view the models in the viewer

  1. Select an element in the viewer and click on Properties Tab

  1. Click on the Ellipsis Icon in which element you need to create the RFI and select Create RFI option

  1. Enter the Mandatory Fields which will be marked with “*”, and click on the Create button to complete the process

Creating a Property Based RFI using Group Tab

Follow the below steps to create a property-based issue,

  1. Select Group Tab. Mouse hover the element to view the options and click on the Property Icon

  1. Click on the Ellipsis Icon in which element you need to create the RFI and select Create RFI option
