The Manage Issues option is used to create and manage issues within the SolidWorks application, allowing users to communicate directly within the SolidWorks model. This functionality helps in problem resolution and enhances communication and collaboration among project users. This option becomes enabled once the model interacts with the Enginero project.


Issue Overview

Follow the steps below to access and manage issues associated with the SolidWorks models in the SolidWorks application, 


  1. Click on the Manage Issues option under the Enginero tab from the ribbon panel

  1. Displays the issues related to the model opened in SolidWorks. Users can search for issues using the search bar and Click on the Refresh icon to revise with updated issues

  1. Click on the Filter icon to quickly find or narrow down Issues based on specific criteria such as By project or model, Sort by, Issue Type, Sub-Issue Type, Status, Priority, Assignee, Start Date, and End Date

  1. Click on the issue to view it in the SolidWorks model with highlighted elements and know about its details, which have been divided into various sections such as Overview, Comments, and History
    1. Overview - Display the general information and can add reference documents through the attachments option
    2. Comments - Display the user comments about the respective issue
    3. History - Display the activities of the respective issue

Description

Name

Provide a desired name for the issue

Status

Set the status for the Issue as per the defined workflow

Priority

Assess the importance of issue which are categorized into three types such as low, medium and high

Assignee

Assign a user to work on the issue

Type

Display the issue type

Sub-Type

Display the issue sub type

Start Date

Starting date of the issue, will be assigned by default.

End Date

Provide an estimated date of Issue resolution

Created

Display the Issue creation date 

Updated

Display the last updated date of the issue 

Description

Add information/remarks related to the issue

Attachments

Upload reference files related to the issue

Add Screenshot

Add additional screenshots for more specific details about issue

Remove Image

Remove the uploaded image

Comments

Share opinions with fellow users regarding the issue

History

Track past activities of the issue

Property Name

Display the property name, available exclusively in Property-Based Issues

Actual Value

Display the actual value of the property, available exclusively in Property-Based Issues

Expected Value

Display the expected value of the property, available exclusively in Property-Based Issues

Clash Points

Display the clash points, available exclusively in Clash-Based Issues
