Creating Project Template

Project Template creation can be done through two methods. Now follow the below steps to create a Project Template.

Creating new Project Template

Select Hub from the side Navigation and choose the desired Hub from the listed Hubs

Select the Template >Project Template option and click on the Create Template button (on Top Right)

Enter the Mandatory data in the Fields which will be marked with “*” and click on the Create Template button to complete the process

On successful creation of Project Template, the user will be redirected to overview page to configure Project settings

Notes:

Project Type has been predefined and listed in drop down and Template name should be unique while creating the Project Template

Creating Project Template from existing Project

Select Hub from the side Navigation and choose the desired Hub from the listed Hubs

Select the Template >Project Template option and click on the Import from Project button (on Top Right)

Choose project from dropdown which shows created project and Enter the Mandatory data in the Fields which will be marked with “*” and click on the Create Template button to complete the process

Teams – By selecting this checkbox, all the teams available in the chosen project will be imported into the template as a project setting
Document Folders – By selecting this checkbox, all the document folders available in the chosen project will be imported into the template as a project setting
Document Files – By selecting this checkbox, all types of document files available in the chosen project will be imported into the template as a project setting
Imported Assets from Global – By selecting this checkbox, imported libraries with assets from the Global content will be imported into the template as a project setting
Imported Companies – By selecting this checkbox, imported companies available in the chosen project will be imported into the template as a project setting
Mapped users in Role – By selecting this checkbox, all mapped users with the role will be imported into the template as a project setting
Configuration – By selecting this checkbox, configured settings of Project will be imported into the template as a project setting

On successful creation of Project Template, the user will be redirected to overview page to configure Project settings if required

Notes:

Module field will be optional but at least any one module needs to be selected from the dropdown when creating the Project Template
