After logging in to the Enginero PDM, users can access the following modules that facilitates various tasks such as creating life cycles to the product files, managing states and types for the product files, and organizing the PDM files within a user-specific workspace.


  • PDM Lifecycle - A PDM Lifecycle is a set of states and transitions that define the workflow of a PDM file throughout its lifecycle
  • PDM Lifecycle State - The PDM Lifecycle State indicates the recent status of the product. As a default, three statuses in each category, such as Backlog, In Progress and Done, are made available
  • PDM Type - The PDM type allows admins to create and manage custom PDM file types for the required file formats and native software. PDM types are mapped to a user-defined PDM Lifecycle
  • Workspace - A workspace is an individual user's repository where the user can publish the product files from their native software
  • PDM - The PDM module within a project is a central repository of all PDM files uploaded by the users. It provides a list of PDM files, from which users can change the state and view detailed information about the respective files
