Global Contents
Global Content enables users to store and manage assets globally across the organization, utilizing them for any projects among different Hubs as per the requirements. These assets are imported from the native application as well as local storage.
The flexible Global Content provides the following modules, which enhance an organized platform for managing assets easily,
- My Assets Module - Users can effectively manage assets in the following structured tabs to facilitate easy accessibility and usage
- Access and manage assets either by Libraries or by categories in the following, which are imported from the native application,
- Libraries Tab - Assets can be arranged as per the assigned libraries. Users have options to create libraries and manage assets within those libraries, which can then be imported into projects as required
- Categories Tab - Assets can be arranged based on the Revit categories that were defined from the native application
- Others Tab - Access and manage imported keynotes and images from local storage, which are specifically used for Revit models to maintain the standardization. These Keynotes and notes can be imported to project as required
- Users Module - It involves defining, assigning, and controlling the roles associated with Global content. Users within the organization can get assigned with distinct roles to perform global content related actions
Notes:
- An asset can be linked to multiple libraries as needed. However, assets in the Categories tab will be unique
